For this assignment, we had to design a promotional poster for the Barbican and on an exhibition for Derek Jarman. We were each given a colour as our focus point and had to design around this. My colour was purple, however I did want to experiment with others to see how it look.

As you will see, my final piece used powder brushes to create this really expressive and dynamic piece that would hopefully would well to promote the exhibition.

These two below are a couple other experiments I had a try at during this assignment. I dripped ink on to a page before overlaying text in Photoshop, however I wasn't too pleased with how the finished designs looked. I could have developed this further, I think, by testing how it looked with the letterpress.
